About me

I am a 26 year old computerguy from Tromsø, Norway. I currently work at the IT-department at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, with networking and WiFi as my speciality. I have a masters degree in Computer Science/Informatics, awarded for my thesis on collection and analytics of data from wireless networks, in june 2016.

My interests range from fiddling with electronics, mechanics and computers, to photography, hiking and trips. Currently, I'm looking into designing simple electronic components and software for use in generic, standardized (e)IoT-systems for environmental monitoring and control. Thus far, this has resulted in the first two prototype models of a simple, arduino-based sensor assembly platform powered by 802.11af PoE, for remote placement(links to schematics and code will be posted eventually).

Licence

I strive to licence all my work under some kind of licence which allows you to use my work for anything you want, as long as I get some kind of acknowledgement for the parts I made. This means that most of my work will be licenced under either Copyleft or UNLICENCE(if not explicitly noted otherwise) if possible. Some work is historically licenced under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence, or earlier versions of it. These works are freely available for use on the condition of attribution, non-commersialization and an equal shared premise. Certain parts of these licences might be waived if there is a good reason for it.
